We welcome you to join our community. The experience starts with our signature first year cohort-based program, for which applicants must apply by following the steps below. Our cohorts are based in the following locations:

Fairfield County, Connecticut || Jersey City, New Jersey || New York City
Northern Virginia || Philadelphia, Pennsylvania || Seattle, Washington || Washington, D.C.

Application Process

Applications for 2019 cohorts are now closed, but please subscribe to our newsletter so we can let you know when applications become available for 2020.

Don’t forget: Nominate a friend, and we’ll give you a $100 credit toward your membership fee if you both are accepted!

Applying is as easy as 1-2-3.


1. Reflect.

Becoming a Tide Riser is a major commitment and we want you to be ready for it. Ask yourself if you are ready to make the time to invest in yourself, invest in your work, and invest in community. Contact us if you would like to learn more about the program or discuss whether it is right for you.


2. Apply.

Our application for membership is the first step in your journey as a Tide Riser. It helps us get to know you, and helps you begin the process of engagement, self-discovery, and community-building.


3. Commit.

We will contact accepted candidates in early January with an acceptance letter, information about your cohort, and a huge congratulations! Deposits for the annual fee will be due in mid-January.
