We will be volunteering at Room to Grow, a nonprofit organization that provides families with structured coaching, material goods, and community connections to support parents as they activate natural strengths, gain confidence and knowledge, and ensure their babies have the social, emotional, and language skills they need to thrive from the start. We will be counting, sorting, organizing, and preparing donations of baby clothing, toys, and books for the families in Room to Grow's program.
The Family Center is located at 7 West 30th Street on the 3rd floor (Between Broadway and 5th Ave).

Damned if you do, Damned if you don't: Working with Paradox with Kristine Sloan
We are all brought up with a system of values and perspectives that help to inform how we see ourselves, one another, and the world. In this session, we will learn a tangible framework to help us move more fluidly in situations where our values and perspectives contradict those of our peers or our coworkers. We will begin to see that paradox may not be something we can fix, but it is something we can manage.
Please note that we will be meeting in Maya Petrocelli’s offices at 1 Metrotech Center, Suite 1701 in Brooklyn. The entrance is on Jay Street. Tell security that you are coming up to Abrams Fensterman on the 17th floor.
How about a little paint therapy? Join Tide Risers for a paint party at Paint Along (129 East 27th St in Manhattan) on Tuesday, May 22 from 6:30 to 8pm
